What is CPC?
CPC is obtained by heating green petroleum coke at ~1300°C to remove volatile matter, increase carbon content, and improve conductivity. It is mainly used in aluminum, steel, and chemical industries.


Properties:

✅ Carbon Content: 98% - 99%

✅ Sulfur Content: 0.5% - 3% (varies by grade)

✅ Porosity: High, making it suitable for anode production

✅ Good Electrical Conductivity

Applications:

✅ Used in the production of carbon anodes for aluminum smelting.

✅ Used as a recarburizer in steelmaking and foundries.

✅ Used in the production of graphite electrodes.
