Ferro silicon magnesium

Ferro Silicon Magnesium (FeSiMg) is a ferroalloy composed of magnesium (Mg), silicon (Si), and iron (Fe). It is primarily used as a nodulizer in ductile iron production, helping to promote the formation of spherical graphite nodules, which improve the mechanical properties of cast iron.


Chemical Composition:

  • ✅ Silicon (Si): 40-50%
  • ✅ Calcium (Ca): 1-3%
  • ✅ Iron (Fe): Balance
  • ✅ Rare Earth Elements (RE): 0.5-2.0% (optional, depending on grade)
  • ✅ Carbon (C): ≤ 0.1%
  • ✅ Sulfur (S): ≤ 0.03%
  • ✅ Phosphorus (P): ≤ 0.03%
