Stainless Steel Scrap 316L is a low-carbon variant of 316 stainless steel. The reduction in carbon content makes it highly resistant to intergranular corrosion, especially after welding. It contains chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), and molybdenum (Mo), providing superior resistance to corrosive environments, chlorides, and acids.

✅ Manganese (Mn): 2.0% – 3.0%

✅ Silicon (Si): ≤ 1.0%

✅ Carbon (C): ≤ 0.03% (lower than 316)

✅ Sulfur (S): ≤ 0.03%

✅ Phosphorus (P): ≤ 0.045%

✅ Iron (Fe): Balance
